RADIESSE®

Radiesse® is a biostimulatory injectable treatment made with calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) that provides immediate structural support while stimulating the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin over time.

Unlike traditional hyaluronic acid fillers, Radiesse® contains calcium-based microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. This provides an immediate smoothing and volumizing effect while supporting gradual improvements in skin structure and quality.

Radiesse® has Health Canada-authorized indications for the face, décolleté, and hands, depending on the formulation and preparation used. Treatment is individualized based on your anatomy, skin quality, and aesthetic goals.

Results are visible following treatment and may continue to develop as collagen production occurs. Results can last up to approximately two years, although individual outcomes vary.

RADIESSE® CARE

BEFORE RADIESSE®

At MAISON 627, safety and informed care are the foundation of every treatment. Before receiving Radiesse®, you will undergo an individualized assessment and consultation to determine whether treatment is appropriate for you. This includes reviewing your medical history, medications and supplements, allergies, previous aesthetic treatments, and treatment goals.

Please inform your provider of any history of severe allergies, bleeding disorders, abnormal scarring, inflammatory skin conditions, previous injectable treatments, or active infection or inflammation in the treatment area. Please also let us know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Your treatment options, expected benefits, potential risks and complications, alternatives, and aftercare will be reviewed before informed consent is obtained.

Some medications and supplements may increase the likelihood of bruising. Please discuss these with your provider before treatment. Do not stop prescribed medications unless advised by the healthcare provider responsible for prescribing them.

Please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin when possible. Treatment may be postponed if you are unwell or have an active infection or inflammation in the treatment area.

AFTERCARE

Following Radiesse® treatment, temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, or firmness at the injection sites may occur. These effects generally improve over the following several days.

Avoid unnecessary touching, pressure, or massage of the treated area unless specifically instructed by your provider.

For the first 24–48 hours, avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and excessive heat such as hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms to help minimize swelling and bruising.

Makeup may be applied once the injection sites have closed and the skin is not irritated. A clean, cool compress may be used intermittently to help reduce swelling and discomfort.

When possible, avoid elective dental work and other invasive procedures involving the treated area for approximately two weeks following treatment.

Results may continue to develop gradually as collagen production occurs. Your provider will give you individualized aftercare instructions based on the treatment area and technique used.
