SKIN BOOSTERS

Skin boosters are injectable hyaluronic acid treatments designed to improve skin quality rather than significantly change facial shape or volume. They are placed within the skin to support hydration and improve the appearance of fine lines, texture, elasticity, and overall skin quality.

At MAISON 627, we offer Restylane Skinboosters, Revanesse Renew+, and Teoxane Redensity 1. The product and treatment plan are selected based on your skin, treatment area, and individual goals.

Results develop gradually and may include smoother, more hydrated and refreshed-looking skin. A series of treatments may be recommended, with maintenance treatments individualized based on the product used and your response to treatment.

SKIN BOOSTERS CARE

BEFORE SKIN BOOSTERS

At MAISON 627, safety and informed care are the foundation of every treatment. Before receiving a skin booster treatment, you will undergo an individualized assessment and consultation to determine whether treatment is appropriate for you. This includes reviewing your medical history, medications and supplements, allergies, previous aesthetic treatments, skin concerns, and treatment goals.

Please inform your provider of any history of cold sores (herpes simplex), allergies, autoimmune or immune-related conditions, bleeding disorders, previous reactions to injectable products, recent or upcoming dental or medical procedures, or active infection or inflammation in or near the treatment area. Please also let us know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Your provider will recommend the product and treatment plan appropriate for you and review the expected benefits, potential risks and complications, alternatives, and aftercare before informed consent is obtained.

Some medications and supplements may increase the likelihood of bruising. Please discuss any medications or supplements you are taking with your provider before treatment. Do not stop any prescribed medication unless advised to do so by the healthcare provider who prescribed it. Limiting alcohol before treatment may also help reduce bruising.

Please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin when possible. Treatment may be postponed if you are unwell or have an active infection, inflammation, rash, or other skin concern in or near the treatment area.

AFTERCARE

Following treatment, temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, or small raised areas at the injection sites may occur. These effects are generally temporary and typically improve over the following several days.

Keep the treatment area clean and avoid unnecessary touching, rubbing, pressure, or massage unless specifically instructed by your provider.

For the first 24 hours, avoiding strenuous exercise, alcohol, and excessive heat such as hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms may help minimize redness, swelling, and bruising.

Makeup may be applied once the injection sites have closed and the skin is not irritated. A clean, cool compress may be used intermittently if needed for swelling or discomfort.

When possible, avoid elective dental work and other invasive facial procedures for approximately two weeks before and after treatment. If urgent dental or medical care is required, proceed with necessary care and inform your provider.

Results develop gradually as the treatment settles. Depending on the product used and your individual goals, a series of treatments and periodic maintenance may be recommended.
